He's back. :lol:

Here's Simon again. He's my neighbor's cat. I believe he's a Maine Coon. A week or two back, he was in our yard again, wanting to come inside. I took some time to get some references of him, since he's such a pretty boy. :lol:

Guh, black hair takes forever to do. :faint:

Drawn with an HB mechanical pencil, and shaded with HB and 2B graphite pencils.

YEAH black hair DOES take forever! when i saw this painting that was my first thought!

Oh gosh. Wowwwwww. XD He's a pretty Maine Coon. He reminds me of Jacob, only Simon's face is smaller than his. And Simon's all black, LOL. That must've killed your hand. But it looks amazing, as usual. X3 I want to hug him. Poor neglected thing. ;_;

Oh wow this looks awesome O___________O Brilliant job on the details :heart: ^_^ all of the texture in this looks beautiful 8D the fur looks great n_n you captured all of the different natural hair lengths in the fur overall :D and the wood effects you created on the background look really nice too ^_^ Very nice work on the tones too =3 I agree it takes AGES to shade black D: but you handled it really nicely :aww: and the highlighting and shading overall looks really controlled and smooth :aww: amazing piece!!!! 8D
